The Cooperstown Summer Music Festival’s 14th season featured a mix of top classical and jazz artists performing in Cooperstown, NY from July 8 – August 24, 2012.
July 8, 7:30 pm Opening Night at The Farmers’ Museum, with guitarist Jason Vieaux, flutist Linda Chesis, Nadir Khashimov, violin; Daniel Lee, viola and Eric Han, cello.
July 29, 7:30 pm The Jupiter String Quartet performs works by Haydn, Bartók and Mendelssohn at The Farmers’ Museum.
August 2, 7:30 pm Flute Fest at the Otesaga Resort Hotel.
August 5, 7:30 pm The Horszowski Trio performs works by Schubert and Nino Rota at the Otesaga Resort Hotel. The Trio will be in residence at the Festival, leading the Pro Am Seminar, which features free performances with highly accomplished amateur musicians.
August 6, 7:00 pm Free Pro Am Performance at Pathfinder Village in Edmeston.
August 7, 7:30 pm Free Pro Am Performance at Grace Church in Cherry Valley.
