Q: How long do concerts last?
A: That depends on the concert:

Q:
When and where do I pick up tickets
being held for me?
A: Starting 45 minutes before the concert begins, tickets may
be picked up at the will-call table located just inside the venue entrance.
Q:
Can I buy tickets at the door?
A: Whatever tickets remain unsold on concert day will be sold
at the ticket sales table at the venue entrance. To see if
tickets are likely to be available at the door, please
Festival office before 12:00 pm at 877.666.7421 concert, as some concerts do sell
out ahead of time.
Q:
Are there different levels of
seating?
A: All seats are the same price, and seating is made on a
first-come, first-served basis, unless you have taken advantage of
one of our
special
donor opportunities that entitle you to priority reserved
seating.
Q: How do concert-goers dress?
A: Our audience members' dress ranges widely, from very
casual to formal. Please keep in mind that the venues are not
air-conditioned, and summer temperatures and weather in Cooperstown
are unpredictable.
Q: Are the concerts wheelchair
accessible?
A: The venues are fully wheelchair accessible.
Q:
Is there anything I should know
about attending a chamber music concert?
A: A chamber music concert is a wonderfully intimate
experience. Here are some recommendations to help make the most of
your time with us:
- Please turn off your cell phone, pager, alarm watch and anything else that might distract from the performance.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the concert start-time to get settled.
- After the short round of applause greeting the artists as they take the stage, please hold your applause until the very end of a piece so as not to break the artists' concentration.
Q:
What do children do at the
pre-concert activities for Family Music Fest concerts?
A: Families attending our two Family Music Fest concerts are
in for a treat! The pre-concert activities begin a half-hour before
the concert start-time and are geared for preschool to elementary
age children; past activities have included making and decorating a
trumpet, writing a song for the musicians to play, and learning how
to dance the waltz.
Q: What is the instrument petting zoo?
A:
At the end of the Family Music Fest concerts, audience members have
a opportunity to try their hand at musical instruments with
the help of Festival musicians. (Instruments provided by John Keal
Music Company)
Q: What are my dining options?
A:
From the elegance of the Otesaga Resort Hotel to a picnic in the
park Cooperstown has a wide variety of dining experiences to fit
every budget and taste. Fresh local produce is served in many of our
restaurants complimented by libations from our breweries, wineries
and cider mills. You can even rent a boat and dine on the lake
